How To...{Make Small Eyes Appear Larger}

I was recently asked how to make small eyes look larger.  

When I think of small eyes done right, I think of the lovely Jennifer Aniston.

To make small eyes look larger follow these simple steps:

1.  Fill in brows

2.  Curl lashes

3.  Apply Eyeshadows 

highlight- brow bone, inner corner of eye

light (shimmer or matte)-  lid 

medium (matte)- crease

dark-  (optional) along bottom lashes as an eyeliner

4.  Apply black eyeliner close to the lash line on top lid only, 

   winging out slightly at the outer corner

5.  Apply mascara heavy on the top and optional on the bottom lashes

tips that will also make eyes appear bigger:
apply a shimmery copper eyeshadow along the base of the bottom lashes,
apply single false lashes to the outer corners of the top eyelashes,
line eyes with contrasting or complementing shades such as:

Blue Eyes:  Reddish Brown or Navy eyeliner
Green or Hazel Eyes:  Plum or Purple eyeliner
Brown:  Navy eyeliner

For a night time look, follow the above and apply eyeliner close 

to the bottom lashes using an eyeliner brush.
