Fashion Week Fall 2012 Look

  This makeup look that I fell in love with is from designer Jason Wu from the Fashion Week Fall 2012 runway.  The model looks more blue than mine did but that would be easy to add in to the corner.  It reminds me of the colors of peacock...emerald green and teal blue.

To watch the video for this look please visit my YouTube Channel .
I had to cut the video to get it from 30 minutes to 15 minutes time that YouTube allows.
A full list of the products used are at the bottom.

The Shady Lady the Balm eyeshadow palettes purchased from Sephora.

Ask Kim {Summer & Fall Makeup}

Ask Kim:  Do I need to change my makeup from Summer to Fall?

I was recently asked by a client if the plums and berry makeup that she is currently wearing is still appropriate for the Fall.  I think these colors are great for all seasons and flattering for many skintones.  Generally makeup for Summer is bronzed, glowing skin and Fall is darker colors, and more defined makeup. For instance this Fall the eyes are defined with deeply pigmented eyeshadows and black eyeliner, or keep the eyes light and pair with lined, wine stained lips.

My advice would be to keep the plums and berries through out the year but for Fall maybe try more of a smokey eye using the darkest shades or deepen the berry lip and keep the eyes neutral.  See below the difference from a Summer look to this year's Fall looks.
